"Abstract composition XIII" №17068

Art. number: 17068

Description

Abstract art, also called abstractionism (from Latin: abstractio - something abducted), is a kind of modernist strand in art. It is characterized by a refusal to depict objects and events, as well as a detachment from the figurative approach to reality. The aim of this direction is to achieve harmony by combining geometric shapes and colors that can cause different emotions and associations. It originated in 1910-1913 after the breakup of Cubism, Expressionism and Futurism. Free art, derived from Expressionism and the close to Cubism geometric abstraction, gave the first abstract artists a boost - Wassily Kandinsky, Jackson Pollock, Kazimir Malevich, Piet Mondrian and František Kupka. The greatest abstractionists, recognized today, are Kandinsky and Mondrian.

The catchy and colorful forms in the abstract composition can be a wonderful detail and accent in the interior of your home or workplace. Reproduction is a high-quality eco-printing on canvas, wrapped on a hard back up to 30x40cm, above which the canvas is stretched on a subframe. The reproduction is arranged in a frame suitable for the image in all sizes.
