The sukmann female costume is the most worn throughout Bulgaria. It consists of a white cotton shirt and a sukman, with the typical embroidery for each region. In the Thracian region we have a wealth of embroidery and ornaments. Most often the sucker is sleeveless, but in some places it is short and even with a long sleeve.
