The folk clothing of the population of the Thracian folklore region is manifold due to the large extent of these lands. Here are different types of folk costumes, the variety being very pronounced in women's costumes.

The sukmann female costume is the most worn throughout Bulgaria. It consists of a white cotton shirt and a sukman, with the typical embroidery for each region. In the Thracian region we have a wealth of embroidery and ornaments. Most often the sucker is sleeveless, but in some places it is short and even with a long sleeve.
