"Irises" is one of the few paintings of the famous painter Van Gogh, which is not entirely captured by the artist's favorite yellow color. The picture conquers the realistically depicted flowers. They were painted while in the mental hospital, near Saint-Remy de Provence, the year before he died (1890). The picture shows the influence of the Japanese engraving, as well as other works by Van Gogh and some his contemporaries. This similarity manifests itself in the contour of the objects, the unusual angle, the presence of detailed painted areas and the "flooded" areas with dense colors that do not correspond to reality. In 1990, Irisi was resold at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles.
The reproduction of Irisi is a high-quality print on an Italian eco ink jar. The canvas is folded over the back to the size of 30x40, and above this size is stretched on a subframe. The picture is arranged with a luxury frame.
