Between 1871 and 1878, Monet lived in Argenteuil, near Paris. There he created some of his most famous works. Among them is the "Poppies At Argenteuil". The painting was painted in 1873. Claude Monnet portrayed her first wife, Camille and her son. At the top of Mount Monnet, he draws two more people and connects all four figures that are barely visible in the grass.
