Rumen Dimitrov is a contemporary Bulgarian artist born in the city of Shumen, Bulgaria. He graduated with a degree in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Veliko Tarnovo “St. Cyril and St. Methodius”. Between 2001 and 2014, he further pursued his academic development in the field of visual arts, earning a Master's degree in Art Education.

His artworks are held in private collections belonging to internationally recognised individuals, including Noemí Sanín, former Ambassador of Colombia to Morocco, Spain, the United Kingdom and Venezuela; Doña Sonsoles Vaina Menéndez, Coordinator and Director of the Queen Sofía National Museum Art Centre in Madrid; and Carlos Santacruz, a member of the family of Queen Fabiola of Belgium.
