Between 1871 and 1878, Monet lived in Argenteuil, near Paris. There he created some of his most famous works. Among them is "The Artist's Garden in Argenteuil (A Corner of the Garden with Dahlias)". The painting was painted in 1873. It is currently in The National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C.
