"Water Lilies" II №19357

Art. number: 19357

Description

"Water Lilies" is a series of about 48 oil paintings by French Impressionist Claude Monet (1840-1926). They were the greatest inspiration of the artist. In its endearment to reveal the boundary between reality and its reflection, between the darkness and the crystal transparency of the day, Monet is impressed less by the flowers than by their reflections - the mirror world revealed on the surface of the calm water. That's why, he says, his greatest achievement is the Giverny Water Garden, where he draws them.

In 1916, when he was 76, Monet began painting his famous panels of water lilies, which represent a 70-meter long circle. Currently, they are in the Tuileries Park's Greenhouse Museum.

This painting "Water Lilies" was created in 1908 in Giverny.

Reproduction is a high-quality eco-printing, on an Italian eco ink jar. The canvas is folded over the back to the size of 40x40, and above this size is stretched on the subframe. The picture is arranged with a luxury frame and is ready for hanging.
